Originals License Addendum.

Version originals-v1 · Last updated July 4, 2026. This Addendum supplements the Terms of Service and applies only to a specific show you submit to the SceneWeaver Originals shelf. Where they conflict, this Addendum controls for that show.

The short version: You keep ownership. You’re letting SceneWeaver feature your show on the Originals shelf, brand and promote it (posters, trailers, social posts), and serve it through our APIs — with your name on it, for as long as it stays published. No exclusivity, no bulk redistribution, and you can withdraw anytime.

1. What you keep

You keep everything the Terms already give you: you own the show (Terms §6). Nothing here transfers ownership. This is a license, not an assignment, and it is non-exclusive — you can publish the show anywhere else, unchanged.

2. What you grant

In addition to the publishing license in Terms §9, you grant SceneWeaver a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license, for the term in §5, to:

  • Designate and shelfthe show as a “SceneWeaver Original,” including placement on the Originals shelf, rankings, and editorial surfaces;
  • Create and use promotional derivatives — branded poster artwork (including modifying your poster with Originals branding), thumbnails, stills, and audiovisual excerpts of up to 90 seconds, solely to promote the show or the SceneWeaver service;
  • Promote on and off SceneWeaver— including our social accounts, newsletters, blog, advertising, and press materials, always with the attribution in §3;
  • Serve the show through our APIs and agent interfaces (including the Model Context Protocol endpoint): title, description, metadata, poster, and streaming links, with attribution, so viewers and AI assistants can discover, watch, and cite it.

3. What we do not get, and attribution

Without a separate written agreement, SceneWeaver will not: sell or sublicense the show as standalone content; distribute downloadable copies of its full video or screenplay to third parties (bulk export); train AI models on it beyond what the Terms already permit to operate the service; or claim ownership or exclusive rights.

Attribution. Public Originals surfaces and API responses carry your creator name (as stored on your account) alongside the show.

4. Your promises

You confirm that:

  • you created the show (including with SceneWeaver’s tools);
  • you have all rights needed to grant this license;
  • the show does not infringe anyone’s intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights;
  • any real person’s name or likeness in it is used with permission; and
  • the show complies with the Terms’ content rules.

5. Term & withdrawal

  • This license runs while the show stays published on SceneWeaver and designated an Original.
  • You may withdraw at any time by unpublishing the show or emailing support@sceneweaver.ai. De-shelving is immediate; we stop creating new promotional materials immediately and retire existing off-platform promotional posts within 30 days. Copies cached by third parties or already distributed are outside our control (same as Terms §9).
  • SceneWeaver may de-shelf the show at any time at its discretion. De-shelving ends the §2 promotional rights going forward but does not affect the ordinary Terms §9 publishing license while the show stays published.

6. Compensation

This designation is promotional; no fee or revenue share is payable under this Addendum. If SceneWeaver later launches a paid Originals program, its terms will be presented separately and will not apply retroactively to a show accepted under this version.

7. Housekeeping

Governing law and dispute resolution follow the Terms of Service. SceneWeaver may update this Addendum for future submissions; changes never apply retroactively to a version you already accepted. The version you accept (originals-v1), and when, is recorded on the show.
