1. Who we are & what you're agreeing to
SceneWeaver (“SceneWeaver”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-assisted studio for writing, producing, and publishing vertical (9:16) drama series. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and SceneWeaver and govern your use of the SceneWeaver website, app, and APIs (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, signing in, purchasing credits or a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
2. Who can use SceneWeaver
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
- You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement (or have a parent or guardian who is), and you must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law.
- Purchases (subscriptions and credit packs) require that you are old enough to form a binding payment contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian make the purchase for you.
3. Your account
You sign in to SceneWeaver with a Google account. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Tell us promptly via support if you suspect unauthorized use.
You must give us accurate information and may not impersonate another person, create accounts to evade limits or bans, or share an individual account between multiple people (team plans have dedicated collaborator seats for that).
4. The service
SceneWeaver lets you take a story idea through a production pipeline — script, scene breakdown, casting, design, shot generation — and render the result as a 9:16 video episode you can download or publish to the public Watch feed. Core parts of that pipeline are powered by third-party AI models and infrastructure, including model providers such as Google (Gemini), OpenAI, Anthropic, fal.ai, and ElevenLabs, and rendering infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. Which providers and models we use can change over time as we improve the Service.
The Service is under active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed, and availability is not guaranteed — see Disclaimers below.
5. Plans, credits & payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment transaction.
- Subscriptions (Creator, Studio, Enterprise) bill monthly or annually and grant a monthly allowance of credits, the unit the Service uses to meter AI generation and rendering. Credits reset each billing cycle; unused credits roll over for one billing cycle. Some paid plans offer a 7-day trial.
- Credit packs are one-time purchases of additional credits and do not renew.
- 14-day refund. We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund on any paid plan — just contact support. Your unused credits stay yours.
- Cancellation. You can cancel a subscription at any time; it remains active through the end of the period you’ve paid for. Plan changes apply at the start of your next billing cycle.
- Price changes. We may change prices or credit allowances going forward; we’ll give you reasonable advance notice before a change affects a subscription you already have.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it’s resolved. Credits have no cash value and aren’t transferable outside your account or team.
6. Your content & ownership
You own your inputs. Scripts, prompts, uploaded media, and anything else you bring to the Service remain yours. You must have the rights to whatever you upload.
You own your outputs. As between you and SceneWeaver, we assign to you all our right, title, and interest in the content the Service generates for you (images, video, audio, text), to the extent permitted by applicable law — subject to the important caveats in Section 7.
Our license to operate. So we can run the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content as needed to provide the Service — for example, sending your prompts and media to the AI providers that generate your shots, rendering your episodes, and showing your project back to you and your collaborators. Publishing to the public feed grants the broader license described in Section 9.
7. AI-generated content
Be aware of how generative AI actually behaves:
- Outputs may be similar across users. AI models can produce the same or similar output for different people given similar prompts. Your ownership of an output doesn’t prevent someone else from independently generating something alike.
- No guarantee of copyrightability. The legal status of AI-generated works is unsettled and varies by jurisdiction. We make no promise that generated output qualifies for copyright or other IP protection.
- Outputs can be wrong or infringing. Models can produce inaccurate content or content that resembles existing works or real people. You are responsible for reviewing output before you rely on it or publish it.
- Your use of generated output must comply with these Terms, applicable law, and any usage policies of the underlying model providers.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service to create, upload, or publish:
- Content that is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
- Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Deceptive depictions of real people. Do not generate a real, identifiable person’s likeness or voice without their consent, or present synthetic media of a real person as authentic. Voice-clone features may only be used with voices you own or have documented permission to clone.
- Sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance — reported to authorities), or content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against people or groups.
- Spam, malware, or fraudulent schemes.
And don’t abuse the platform itself:
- No scraping, automated bulk access, or circumventing rate limits, credit metering, or watermarks.
- No reverse engineering the Service, probing its security, or interfering with other users.
- No reselling the Service or generated capacity without our written agreement.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.
9. Publishing & the public feed
When you publish an episode to the public Watch feed, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, stream, display, and create thumbnails and previews of that published content, and to show it to the public alongside your show’s title and metadata, for as long as it stays published. You can unpublish at any time, which ends that public display going forward (copies cached by viewers or third-party platforms are outside our control).
You’re responsible for what you publish. We may remove published content that violates these Terms or applicable law, and we may moderate the feed at our discretion.
10. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on SceneWeaver infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to support@sceneweaver.ai (or via the support form) including: identification of the work, the URL of the infringing material, your contact information, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you’re authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We’ll remove or disable access to infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers’ accounts. Counter-notices may be sent to the same address.
11. Termination & account deletion
- You can leave at any time by deleting your account. Deletion disables your account immediately; your projects, media, and personal data are permanently purged within 30 days. Records we’re required to keep for accounting — like the credit and payment ledger — are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We can suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms, create legal risk for us, or don’t pay. Where reasonable, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to export your content.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive it.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. AI OUTPUT MAY BE INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OR UNSUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSE; YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. SOME JURISDICTIONS DON’T ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCENEWEAVER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) US $100. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify SceneWeaver against third-party claims arising from your content, your publication of generated material, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law — except to the extent the claim results from our own breach of these Terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we’ll give notice — for example by email or an in-app notice — before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be determined with counsel], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless the law where you live gives you mandatory rights to a different venue.
